The Challenge: Electrão required the pagination of a commemorative book celebrating two decades of work in promoting waste management practices in Portugal. Working within a predefined visual identity developed by the Electrão team, the challenge lay in structuring content that brought together testimonials from key partners alongside featured projects, ensuring visual consistency, readability, and a balanced rhythm throughout the publication. The project was initially conceived as a digital-only publication, but midway through production it was decided to also produce a print edition, requiring a full adaptation of the layout to a different format without compromising the original design integrity.
The Solution: My role focused on the editorial layout and content structuring, applying the established visual identity consistently throughout the pagination and fine-tuning details to ensure readability and balanced rhythm across the publication. Once the print edition was greenlit, I adapted the entire layout for physical production, reworking spreads and proportions to meet print specifications while preserving the visual language and reading experience developed for the digital version.
The Result: A solid institutional publication, delivered in both digital and print formats, that reflects Electrão’s journey, milestones, and impact over the past 20 years.
